ACFW VA's 2024 Crown Award Finalist

Popping on here to celebrate! My first book is a Finalist for ACFW VA’s 2024 Crown Awards! Yay! 🥳

This news came at a sweet time for me.

Congratulations to all the other finalists! I am up with my good friend Bethany Cox, and I am just so excited for her too! It’s funny how, in this Christian writing world, we aren’t competing with each other. I’m over here hoping she wins.

Also congratulations to some other friends I’ve met, Kimberly Cornelius, Carrie Hachadurian, and Theresa Haugh.

This writing journey can be such a roller coaster. If you’re feeling down, please remember: God’s timing is best. His plan is best. I’ve had to remind myself of this again and again.

As a Christian author, I don’t do all of this to accomplish my will, but to accomplish God’s will. He has the little details figured out. I don’t need to worry about them. If He wants me to be published, I will. No striving required. If not, so be it.

Keep trusting in the Lord as you write for Him.
