2024 Genesis Award Winner

You guys…

Last night, I received the 2024 ACFW Genesis Award for Historical Romance.

I was so excited to be a semifinalist. I never would have expected that I might actually win. I am feeling so honored and blessed.

Thank you to my amazing husband, Jacob, for supporting me and taking care of the kids while I left for five days, and for doing so on his birthday no less. I love him so much, and I never want to miss another birthday again!

Thank you, Mama, for coming with me and being there to cheer for me. Happy birthday to you too! (Yep, my husband and my mom share a birthday).

Congratulations to all the finalists and semifinalists, and to all the other Genesis winners from the other categories. We’re Award Buddies for life!

Thank you to everyone at ACFW for all the work you put into this conference and those who run the contests. It is not a small feat.
